Dr Bezwoda is a qualified physician
(Internal Medicine Specialist) and a Specialist Medical Oncologist.
Dr Bezwoda is registered with the Health Professions Council South Africa
and has the professional qualifications of MB BCh FCP (SA) PhD.
Dr Bezwoda has extensive experience in treating cancer with more than 20,000 cancer patients under his care
both in public health and privately. This has given him great insight into how to fine-tune treatment
approaches and methodologies, coupled with consideration for patient care, comfort, and
optimizing the outcome.
In his capacity as a professor he
Taught many students who themselves became noted medical practitioners.
In the academic research field, Dr Bezwoda has published more than 200 scientific papers. he has presented
at numerous scientific meetings both local and international,
and has written a number of chapters in various oncology textbooks.
